Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is a real-time action role-playing NFT game set in the future of the Ni No Kuni Universe where fantasy and reality collide. In this story, people go into pods to go into the world of virtual reality or VR. The game kicks off as a glitch occurs and you are informed by a supposedly AI character named Rania that she is a real person and that she is aware of the simulation and promises that she will find you. It is a free-to-play game developed by NetMarble in partnership with Level-5 and Studio Ghibli, and its beta version, the Soul Divers, was released in May 2022.
In Ni No Kuni, there are Kingdoms, which are similar to clans and guilds from other games. You may create or join a kingdom, and this will allow you to engage and play with other players. Similar to other MMORPG games, you pick a class type and join parties to complete quests. Currently, you can choose among three game modes once you’ve joined a kingdom: the Kingdom Defense, a PvE game mode where you defend the kingdom with your party from the demons attacking it, the Kingdom Invasion, a PvP battle where the members of your kingdom fight it out against the members of another kingdom, and lastly, the Relic Wars, another PvP game mode where two kingdoms try to take control of strategic points within a specified map.
