About the game

Fancy Birds is an arcade-style NFT game developed by FancyStudios and built on the Polygon blockchain. The idea of a “play-to-earn Flappy Bird” was tweeted by Illuvium co-founder, Kieran Warwick, and conceived by Mr. Fancy of Fancy Games DAO. The game first launched in April 2022 with 8,888 randomly generated Genesis Fancy Birds NFTs. In the game, the player controls a bird through obstacles in order to earn $FNC by completing daily and weekly quests. The game also hosts special events such as tournaments that give players the possibility to claim their place in the Treehouse, a special place for the Fancy Bird community. Future versions of the game will allow players to race, redeem, compete, breed, and earn in various game modes such as player-vs-player and player-vs-environment.
