Built on the Polygon (MATIC) blockchain, Aavegotchi is a crypto collectibles game developed by Singapore-based Pixelcraft Studios. Similar to the world of Tamagotchis, the Aavegotchis are playable digital pets that can interact within its metaverse, Gotchiverse. Aavegotchi launched on March 2, 2021, and its metaverse recently launched on March 31, 2022.
Aavegotchi are pixelated ghost NFTs with each one having different, unique, individual properties. Players can feed, pet, dress-up, and play with Aavegotchis in mini games. They’re also able to roam in Gotchiverse, a social space for players to interact in games, farming, trading, and other fun activities, such as adventures and arenas. The native digital utility token of the game’s ecosystem is the GHST, the Aavegotchi token.
